Yahrzeit

Treasuring the memory of loved ones is a core value of Jewish tradition. The Kaddish Yatom, or Mourner’s Kaddish, is recited at the conclusion of every Shabbat service at Shir Ami.

Guests are welcome to attend our Shabbat services to recite Kaddish for a loved one. You will have an opportunity to speak your loved one’s name before the prayer is recited.

When you became a member of our congregation, you may provide a list of those you wish to remember during the year. We will send you a reminder before each service at which a loved one’s name is to be read.
